Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen (Bengali: ) (b. on September 21, 1981 in Kolkata, India) is an Indian actress working in the Bollywood film industry. In an interview with journalist Vickey Lalwani, Sen revealed that she does not use her real name, Shoumitra Sen, "because it is so unusual."

Biography
Sen moved to Mumbai to become a film actress. She was first noticed when she auditioned for a Coca-Cola advertisement, impressing Priyadarshan, the director of the ad. Priyadarshan cast her in his hit film Hungama, establishing her in Bollywood.

She then played Amitabh Bachchan's and Hema Malini's granddaughter in the hit film Baghban. Her next big hit was the Yashraj produced Dhoom. Her next releases Phir Hera Pheri and Golmaal have been successful at the box office. Her latest release Dhoom 2, released on November 24, 2006, is another big hit, though she has very little presence in the film.

Rimi is now going by the screen name Rimii. She explains the name change as a career move: there are many other Sens working in Bollywood right now, and a single name may help her stand out from the crowd and stay apart from others.

Biography
Amisha Patel is the daughter of Amit Patel and Asha Patel, sister of Ashmit Patel and the granddaughter of the famous Indian lawyer Rajni Patel.

Career
She entered films through family connections. Producer Rakesh Roshan was planning a film to introduce his son, Hrithik, to Bollywood; he was looking for another Bollywood newcomer to play the heroine. The Patel and Roshan families are friends, and Amisha won the heroine's role in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) during a joint family dinner.[2]

This film made her a star overnight. She appeared next in the surprise success, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. These two successes were followed by a series of films that flopped at the box-office.

In Gadar, she played the role of a Muslim girl in 1947 India. In Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar, she played the role of a successful singer who was abandoned by her mother at the time of her birth. She helped Karishma Kapoor's comeback in Mere Jeevan Saathi but Karisma's feud with her husband generated more publicity than the film itself. Ankahee is the story of her boyfriend Vikram Bhatt's earlier life. She played the role of his wife.
